About the Artist
My introduction to watercolor painting began in Grade 4 of elementary school in Hong Kong. Each year through high school, only 10 students out of approximately 200 were selected to showcase their artwork at the year-end exhibition. I was honored to make the cut every year throughout my high school education.
While family and professional commitments initially led me down a different career path, my passion for painting remained constant. In later years, I returned fully to the arts, inspired by a deeper appreciation for nature and the richness of color found within it.
In addition to holding a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, I pursued formal fine art training to further develop my skills in texture, composition, and color variation. For over 20 years, my work has been exhibited in galleries throughout San Jose, Lodi, and Stockton and has been included in charitable art auctions supporting various organizations.
My work spans multiple mediums, including oil painting, watercolor, and traditional Chinese painting, with a continued focus on craftsmanship, balance, and expressive color.
